MURRINE HANDMADE CENTERPIECE
Centerpiece with murrine white made of Murano glass from the glassworks T&B Futura in 2008 (now closed).
This dish is part of the "Exclamation" series.
To make a murrina, molten glass of different colors is used.
The master uses a metal rod to collect the molten glass of the first color, then collects another until it reaches different colored states.
When color input is concluded, you find yourself in front of a sphere with different colors superimposed; with a master help, a long cylinder is formed.
Once cooled it will be cut into small sections that will become a single murrina.
The whole surface of the object is satin.
Plate with the signature of the glassware on the back.
Furnishing accessory from collection in original Murano's glass.
